ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Four CCAA baseball student-athletes were awarded with All-America honors for their outstanding performances on the field during the 2026 season.

Cal State San Marcos' Zech Samayoa collected a pair of All-America awards as he was named to the NCBWA second team and to the D2CCA third team. Cal State San Bernardino's Garret Barto also earned a spot on two of the three All-America teams as he was named to the ABCA third team and was a D2CCA honorable mention selection.

Cal State San Bernardino added another All-American with Dom Dominguez earning third-team honors as a catcher. Joining him on the D2CCA third team was Chico State's relief pitcher Manny Lopez.

Zech Samayoa rewrote the Cougars' record books in his only season at Cal State San Marcos. The transfer from Long Beach State hit .362 and led the CCAA in home runs (23), runs batted in (78), total bases (151), and slugging percentage (.868). He moved into a tie for fourth in CCAA history for home runs and RBI in a single season, while setting the CSUSM record in both categories. The designated hitter posted multiple RBI in nearly half the games he played (22-of-50), and he had two games with five RBI. Samayoa was named the CCAA and the D2CCA West Region Player of the Year, and now adds two All-American honors to his list of accolades.

Garret Barto earned his pair of All-American honors at first base. The senior from Pittsburgh led the CCAA with a .411 batting average and a .495 on-base percentage. He ranked second in the CCAA in home runs (20), total bases (137), and slugging percentage (.815). Barto registered an 18-game hitting streak, and he reached base in 25 consecutive games. He also helped power CSUSB to its first CCAA Championship since 2002, along with catcher Dom Dominguez.

Dom Dominguez was a critical piece for the Coyotes on both offense and working with the pitchers. The senior from Victorville, Calif., hit .351 with 18 home runs, 66 RBI, and 53 runs scored. He added a .462 on-base percentage and a .660 slugging percentage. Domiguez finished the season third in the CCAA in home runs and RBI. He was fourth in total bases (128). Dominguez led the team in multi-RBI games (19), and he finished the season having reached base in 22 consecutive games.

Manny Lopez was a dominant reliever out of the pen for Chico State. The right-hander went 5-1 with a 1.27 earned run average and a 0.74 WHIP over 28.1 innings. Lopez struck out 19 and walked just seven. He gave up just four runs all season while being part of three combined shutouts.
