Eight CCAA student-athletes earn a spot on the D2 CCA Women's Soccer All-Region Team

The 2025 D2 CCA Women's Soccer All-Region teams were announced on Tuesday, Nov. 25, and eight CCAA student-athletes earned a place on the All-West squad.
 
Cal Poly Pomona led the way, placing three on the all-region first team and another on the second team. Single selections represented four other CCAA universities.
 
The 2025 CCAA Player of the Year, forward Vanessa Cruz, was joined on the first team by her CPP teammates, midfielder Marisa Salazar and defender Liberty Ortiz. Jenna Tetrault grabbed second-team honors as the goalkeeper.
 
Cal State East Bay's Mika Sayfurahman and Stanislaus State's Aliah Avila joined Salazar as first-team all-region selections in the midfield. Chico State's Hannah Pieri was another CCAA midfielder recognized on the all-region team. She received second-team honors. Cal State San Bernardino's Bella Cervantes earned a second-team selection as a forward.
 
Westen Washington's Morgan Manalili was named the West Region Player of the Year after scoring 17 goals and dishing out eight assists for the Vikings. Click here to see the complete All-West Region Team
