The Most Outstanding Player of last year's championship, Emily Elliott, will be back for the Golden Eagles. She paced NCAA Div. II with 5.69 points per set. She led the CCAA and ranked fourth in the NCAA in kills (4.77) and third in aces (72). Starting libero Jameson Sanders and CCAA all-tournament selection Haley Roundtree (MB) are also back for another run with the Black & Yellow.

Cal Poly Pomona is one of three CCAA teams to go to the NCAA West Regional in each of the last three seasons. The Broncos went 22-8 last season and tied for third in the CCAA standings at 13-5. They will bring back three All-CCAA first or second team selections Samantha Campion (OH), Madison Novak (OH), and Caitie Mueller (S).

Longtime CCAA powerhouse Cal State San Bernardino was voted to finish third in the 2024 standings. The Coyotes were 2023 CCAA co-champions after finishing tied with Cal State LA at 15-3. CSUSB will bring back eight letterwinners, including three starters Ashley Robinson (2.47 kills/set), Savannah Hoffmann (2.34 kills/set), and Kacie Pedersen (40 aces).

San Francisco State earned 110 points to place fourth in the poll. Two-time CCAA Setter of the Year Kimberly DeBoer (10.88 assists/set) is back for her senior season along with returning All-CCAA selections Tamiya Wilson (3.69 kills/set) and Izzy Issak (2.94 kills/set).

Sonoma State went 17-9 last season (12-6 CCAA) to earn its fourth consecutive appearance in the CCAA Tournament. Cal State East Bay was in the hunt for a CCAA postseason berth until the final weekend of the 2023 regular season. The Pioneers (13-12, 9-9 CCAA) will look to return to the CCAA Tournament after a one-year hiatus, and they will bring back three starters, including previous All-CCAA selections Mia Jordan (.359 hitting%) and Lexi Pagani (2.72 kills/set).

Cal State San Marcos went 10-8 in the CCAA (12-15 overall) to earn the final seed in the 2023 CCAA Tournament. The Cougars had just two seniors on their team last year and are expected to bring back five starters, including setter Tori Goff (8.55 assists/set).

Stanislaus State will bring back five starters. They finished third in the conference with 2.09 blocks per set, and they will bring back most of their frontline, including CCAA leader Alex Byrd (1.22 blocks/set).

Jackie Wahl returns to lead Cal State Monterey Bay. Last season, she paced the Otters in kills with 2.52 per set. She will be just one of two returning starters for CSUMB, along with Mikayla Nolte (1.18 kills/set).
