The fourth set saw CSLA go up 9-4 before SPU answered with a 5-0 to tie it at 9-9. They would exchange the next 20 points to make it 19-19, and then, as they had all match, the Golden Eagles closed out the match on a run. They scored six of the last seven points on kills from four different student-athletes and one error to lock down the playoff win.

This was Cal State LA's fourth consecutive win in the NCAA West Regional as the Golden Eagles are the defending regional champions.
