AVCA and D2 CCA announce All-American volleyball teams

Five CCAA student-athletes earned volleyball All-American honors in 2025.
 
Cal Poly Pomona's Sarah Ybarra was the only member from the CCAA to be selected as an All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and D2 CCA. She earned first-team AVCA honors and recognition on the D2 CCA second team.
 
Cal State LA's Samarah DaCoud was also voted to the AVCA second team. AVCA honorable mention selections went to Cal Poly Pomona's Kacie Caoili, San Francisco State's Aidan Goodrich, and Cal State San Bernardino's Kacie Pedersen.
 
The 2025 CCAA Player of the Year, Sarah Ybarra, finished the season ranked third in NCAA Division. II with 4.93 kills per set and 5.46 points per set. She registered a .299 hitting percentage as a right-side hitter and added 3.49 digs per set (7th CCAA). This is her second consecutive season earning AVCA All-American honors for the Broncos.
 
Samarah DaCoud put together an outstanding sophomore season for Cal State LA, ranking 10th in the country with 4.41 kills per set and 4.99 points per set. She finished with a conference-best 467 total kills, and she was fifth in hitting percentage (.275).
 
Kacie Caoili was the CCAA Freshman of the Year and the AVCA West Region Freshman of the Year. Caoili led the CCAA and ranked 17th in NCAA Div. II with 10.72 assists per set. She had three matches with 50 or more assists, including a career-high 58 assists in Cal Poly Pomona's five-set win over Cal State San Bernardino.
 
San Francisco State's Aidan Goodrich completed her junior season ranking fifth in the CCAA in kills per set (3.67) and fourth in points per set (4.20). She helped SF State earn two upset wins in the CCAA Tournament to reach the championship match, including posting a season-best 24 kills in an upset win over top-seeded Cal Poly Pomona.
 
CCAA Tournament MVP Kacie Pedersen ranked 14th in the country in kills per set (4.29) and points per set (4.87). She helped CSUSB capture the CCAA Tournament Championship with 48 kills over two matches (seven sets).
 
The 2025 All-America selections were made by the AVCA Division II All-America Committee. The D2 CCA All-America selections were made by Sports Information Directors throughout NCAA Div. II.
