Thirty student-athletes from nine institutions represented the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Volleyball Academic All-District Team.
The program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Cal State East Bay, Cal State San Bernardino,
Cal State San Marcos, Chico State, and
UC Merced all placed the maximum of four individuals on the academic all-district team.
Cal State LA and
Cal State Monterey Bay had three selections apiece.
Stanislaus State and
Cal Poly Pomona each placed two student-athletes on the academic team.
Nine CCAA student-athletes also had the special privilege of being named CSC Academic All-America® finalists. This list includes Cal State LA's
Samarah DaCoud, Chico State's
Claire Nordeen, and Cal State East Bay's
Kale'a Kuamo'o and
Pi'ilani Carvalho. They will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on Jan. 13.

No student-athlete is eligible until they have completed one full calendar year at their current institution and are at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
