ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Seven CCAA student-athletes were selected to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team.
 
The program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
 
Cal State LA led the way with four golfers, Daniela Andrade, Joshlyn Ayala, Rilee Crosby, and Talia Gutman all collecting all-region honors. Cal State San Marcos also had multiple selections with Avery Foster and Abby Sickles. Brooke Pelletier represented Chico State.
 
Ayala was announced as a CSC Academic All-America® finalist. She will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. To be considered for the honor, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at their current institution. Nominated athletes must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests. No student-athlete is eligible until they have completed one full calendar year at their current institution and are at least a sophomore academically and athletically.

 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
