ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Thirteen CCAA women’s golfers representing four institutions have been named to the 2025-26 Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team.
 
Cal State LA led the conference with five selections. Cal State Monterey Bay placed four golfers on the team, while Cal State East Bay collected three honors and Cal State San Marcos added one.
 
Eight of the conference’s 13 honorees are repeat recipients of the award.
 
Cal State LA’s Joshlyn Ayala earned WGCA All-American Scholar recognition for the fourth consecutive season, becoming the only four-time recipient among this year’s CCAA selections. Ayala earned the honor in each of her four seasons with the Golden Eagles.
 
Avery Foster of Cal State San Marcos, Carlota Eroles of Cal State East Bay, and Sarah Amaya, Daniela Andrade, and Talia Gutman, all from Cal State LA, were each selected for the third consecutive season.
 
Cal State LA’s Rilee Crosby and Cal State Monterey Bay’s Morgan Pittman earned the honor for the second straight year.
 
The WGCA recognized 1,551 women’s collegiate golfers with the prestigious academic honor. The criteria for selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are among the most stringent in college athletics.
 
To qualify, a student-athlete must:

• Maintain an overall cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.
• Be an amateur and remain on the team’s roster through the conclusion of the season.
• Compete in at least 50 percent of the institution’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds through the conference championship.
