ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Four of the top five spots in the most recent NCAA Softball West Region poll went to teams from the CCAA.
 
Cal State San Marcos holds the No. 1 position, with Cal State East Bay right behind at No. 2. Cal State Dominguez Hills is ranked No. 4, and Cal State Monterey Bay is No. 5.

The top eight teams will advance to the regional. The top two teams will host four-team regionals on the week of May 14-16. The winners of each regional will advance to the super regional, which is a best-of-3 series on May 21-22.
