ALISO VIEJO, Calif. -
Cal Poly Pomona remains in the top 25 of the Learfield Directors Cup Division II Standings after the Winter update. The Broncos have earned 303.50 points to not only lead the CCAA, but also the entire West Region.
Four of CPP's seven fall and winter teams have earned a place in the NCAA postseason to lift it into the top 25. The men's cross country team placed 18th (56 points), and the women's team finished 16th (58.5 points). The women's soccer team reached the national semifinals and collected 83 points. The women's basketball team added 73 points to the total by winning the NCAA West Regional and reaching the Elite Eight.
Three other CCAA teams are listed in the top 100. Stanislaus State sits 69th with 167 points.
Chico State is 95th with 130.5 points, and
Cal State East Bay is 99th with 129 points.
