CSUDH's Nala Williams earns first team D2 CCA All-American honors

Cal State Dominguez Hills' Nala Williams added another award to her list of accolades for the 2024-25 season as she was named to the D2 CCA All-American first team on Tuesday, Mar. 25.
 
Williams helped the Toros reach the Elite Eight for the second time in three seasons. She has averaged 17.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and an NCAA-leading 4.1 steals per game. The junior guard shoots .449 percent from the field and .395 percent from 3-point range. Williams has registered 14 games with 20 or more points, and 11 with five or more steals.

The all-american selection is Williams' latest honor. She was also named the CCAA Defensive Player of the Year, the CCAA Player of the Year, the D2 CCA West Region Player of the Year and the WBCA NCAA Div. II Player of the Year. 
 
The Toros have won a program-record 35 games and will play in the national semifinals on Wednesday, Mar. 26, against Union (TN).
