Cal Poly Pomona leads the West Region rankings; Stanislaus State sits at #9

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Cal Poly Pomona sits at No. 1 and Stanislaus State is at No. 9 in the first NCAA West Region Women's Soccer Rankings of 2025.
 
The Broncos hold the top spot with a record of 13-1-3. Cal Poly Pomona is the defending regional and national champion. This year, CPP paces the West Region in shots on goal per game (7.06) and is second in total goals (32). The Broncos have lost just one time since Sept. 2024 and are seeking their first back-to-back appearances in the NCAA regional in program history.
 
Stanislaus State is 9-4-4 with a 5-3-2 record in conference play. The Warriors have won three straight and four of their last five behind and offense that ranks fifth in the region in goals (25). Stan State is seeking its first NCAA Tournament berth since 2019.
 
The next NCAA Division II West Region rankings will be released on Wednesday, Nov. 12. The NCAA Tournament will begin with the first round on Thursday, Nov. 20.
