Cal State San Bernardino’s Ryann Munoz has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week award, for the week of Oct. 20-26.
Munoz posted back-to-back clean sheets to lift CSUSB to wins over Cal State East Bay and Cal State San Marcos last week at home. She faced 20 total shots and made nine saves with four against the Pioneers and five versus the Cougars.
The junior goalkeeper from Wrightwood, Calif., extended her current shutout streak to 195 minutes and 31 seconds.
Munoz ranks fifth in the CCAA with 3.57 saves per game. She has the fifth most saves (50) amongst all goalkeepers in the conference. Click here to see the complete CCAA stats leaders
