BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Cal State Dominguez Hills fell 4-3 to Western Washington in the first game of the 2024 NCAA Softball West Regional. (May 14)
 
A three-run home run by Kaylee Hull put the Toros on top 3-1 in the top of the third inning. The Vikings chipped away with single runs in the fourth and the sixth innings before winning on a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh.
 
Hull led CSUDH going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Alexis Aguado and Mireya Rico also collected a pair of hits.
 
The Super Regional winner will be decided tomorrow. The teams will play at Noon, and if Cal State Dominguez Hills wins, there will be another game at 2:30 p.m. If the Vikings win either game, they will claim the regional championship.
