30 collected CSC Academic All-District Honors in 2026

Jun 17, 2026

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Thirty student-athletes from eight CCAA universities represented the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) on the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Softball Academic All-District Team.

The program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Cal Poly Humboldt, Cal State San Bernardino, and San Francisco State led the conference with the maximum of five academic all-district selections. Cal State San Marcos and Chico State each placed four on the team.

Cal State East Bay had three honorees, and both Cal State Monterey Bay and Stanislaus State had two.

San Francisco State's Ashley Rocha, Cal State East Bay's Marissa Quintero, and Cal State Monterey Bay's Abreanna Alba were selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists. They will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 16. To be considered for the honor, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at their current institution. Nominated athletes must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's games at their position. No student-athlete is eligible until they have completed one full calendar year at their current institution and are at least a sophomore academically and athletically.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
