The regular season is over, and the seeds are finalized for the 2024 CCAA Women's Basketball Tournament at Coussoulis Arena, Mar. 7-9, in San Bernardino, Calif.
Cal State San Marcos earned the No. 1 seed for the third time in the past four seasons. The Cougars finished 18-4 in CCAA play to win the conference by two games. This is the fifth consecutive season CSUSM has earned a berth in the CCAA Tournament.
Chico State is the No. 2 seed and will receive a first-round bye. The Wildcats went 16-6 in the CCAA, with its only losses coming to other CCAA Tournament teams. This is the fourth consecutive CCAA Tournament appearance for Chico.
Cal Poly Pomona will be the No. 3 seed after finishing at 15-7. The Broncos have made the tournament in 26 of 28 years it was held and have 11 tournament championships.
Cal State LA is the No. 4 seed. The Golden Eagles went 7-2 over their last nine contests to finish with a conference record of 13-9. CSLA has won games in each of the previous two CCAA Tournaments.
The No. 5 seed went to
Cal State San Bernardino with a record of 12-10. This is the first CCAA Tournament appearance for the Coyotes since 2017.
Sonoma State rounds out the field as the No. 6 seed. The Seawolves are making their seventh tournament appearance, the longest active streak in the conference. SSU finished CCAA play at 11-11.
The tournament will begin Thursday, March 7, at Coussoulis Arena in San Bernardino. It is the first time since 2009 that Coussoulis Arena has hosted the CCAA Championships. To get more info or to purchase tickets, visit
