Chico State’s Meadow Aragon earns her third FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week of 2025-26

Meadow Aragon from Chico State has been voted the FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Jan 12-18. 

Aragon averaged 15.5 points and 14.5 rebounds per game while helping the Wildcats win two games over Cal Poly Humboldt, which entered the week 8-0 in CCAA play. She added four assists, three steals, and a block. 

In the first of back-to-back games, Aragon scored 17 points, including the game-winner on a buzzer-beater as time expired in overtime, and hauled in seven rebounds. She also had a block and two steals. On Saturday, the Nevada City, Calif., native matched the Chico State record by grabbing 22 rebounds. She added 14 points and three assists. Aragon’s performances also pushed her over 1,000 career points. 

Aragon leads the CCAA and ranks ninth in NCAA Division II with nine double-doubles. She is fourth in the conference in scoring (15.2 ppg) and first in rebounding (10.9). Click here to see the list of CCAA Stat Leaders.
