Cal State LA finished third in the CCAA standings at 5-1-5 (11-4-6 overall), but it was the Golden Eagles lifting the CCAA Tournament Championship trophy in the end after winning postseason straight matches. CSLA closed out the regular season with just one loss in its last 11 matches and shut out all three CCAA Tournament opponents. Leading scorer and first team All-CCAA selection Liliana Gonzalez returns in the midfield, along with the entire starting backline of Thaiz Hernandez, Destiny Moedano, Haley Clark, and Jaclyn Orozco.
