Parker Lamont of Cal Poly Pomona was selected the FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the first of the new season.

Lamont recorded a clean sheet with nine total saves to lead the No. 2 ranked Broncos to two victories to open the 2026 campaign. She played in all 180 minutes in CPP’s wins over Minot State and Biola.

The junior goalkeeper from Palm Springs, Calif., picked up her first career shutout in the season-opening 4-0 win over Minot State on Thursday. Lamont only needed one save and faced just one shot in the contest. In Saturday’s match versus Biola, she was challenged and made eight saves, including a crucial penalty-kick stop in the 87th minute to preserve the 2-1 win.
