In the Fall of 2022, the CCAA announced the launch of the CCAACares program to promote its student-athletes tremendous community engagement efforts.
The conference provides 10 percent of the net ticket revenue to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) program at each CCAA institution hosting a conference tournament or championship for them to donate to their preferred non-profit. Institutions hosting a conference championship that does not charge admission (i.e., cross country, golf) will receive a $250 contribution.

One of the five value statements included in the CCAA Strategic Plan is Community, and we take pride in showing how this conference engages and collaborates with our campus, local, regional and state-wide communities,'" said
CCAA Commissioner Mitch Cox. "To that end, the CCAA has created 'CCAACares' to amplify the exceptional community service contributions made by CCAA athletic departments and their respective SAAC and student-athletes."
In addition, there will be a SAAC Community Service Award of the Year trophy along with a $500 check awarded to the campus SAAC that is voted to have developed the most innovative project during the past year (either a full year of consistent service and contributions or a singular outstanding event).
The goal is to make this a conference-wide initiative both through the prize incentive and friendly competition. All SAAC programs are encouraged to retweet or post to the team's Instagram story from rival CCAA institutions to show unique cooperation and support. Please use #CCAACares so we can monitor and share events we might miss on our feed.
