Hayward Education Foundation to benefit from CCAA Cares program

Cal State East Bay Athletics and its Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has picked the Hayward Education Foundation as the recipient of the CCAA Cares fund from the upcoming CCAA Men's Soccer Tournament.

The CCAA provides 10 percent of the net ticket revenue to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) program at each CCAA institution hosting a conference tournament or championship for them to donate to their preferred non-profit. Institutions hosting a conference championship that does not charge admission (i.e., cross country, golf) will receive a $250 contribution.

CSUEB is the host of the 2024 CCAA Men's Soccer Tournament, Nov. 15-17, at Pioneer Stadium. Lobo's Pantry will receive 10% of the net ticket sale proceeds from the CCAA as part of the CCAA Cares program. The Hayward Education Foundation focuses on raising community funds to support student-centered, curriculum-enhancing enrichment projects in the San Francisco East bay area.  Click here for more information on the Hayward Education Foundation

Since the program's inception in 2022, CCAA Cares has provided more than $7,200 over the past two seasons.
