The CCAA proudly placed 23 student-athletes from eight CCAA universities on the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Baseball Academic All-District Team.
 
The program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
 
Cal State Monterey Bay and Cal State San Bernardino led the conference with five selections apiece. Stanislaus State placed four on the academic all-district team.
 
Cal State East Bay, Cal State LA, and Cal State San Marcos also had multiple selections. Cal Poly Pomona and Chico State each had one representative.
 
Stanislaus State's Pierce Sailer, along with Cal State Monterey Bay's Andrew Kotin and Andrew Lehmann, were selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists. They will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 23. To be considered for the honor, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at their current institution. Nominated athletes must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's games at their position. No student-athlete is eligible until they have completed one full calendar year at their current institution and are at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
