ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Cal State Monterey Bay was ranked in the final American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) polls of the 2026 season.
 
The Otters went 37-18 on the season and won their record-setting fifth CCAA championship with a 21-11 conference mark. CSUMB finished at No. 19 in the NCBWA poll and at No. 28 in the ABCA poll.
 
Cal State Monterey Bay won each of its first four series, going 11-2 in non-conference play. The Otters climbed into the top 10 early in the season, reaching as high as No. 7 in the ABCA poll (March 3).
 
Cal State San Marcos was also listed among the teams 'receiving votes' in the NCBWA and the ABCA polls. Cal Poly Pomona received votes in the final NCBWA poll.
