ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - The Stanislaus State baseball team earned the 2025-26 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack.
 
The Warriors received the national academic honor for the fifth consecutive season after posting a cumulative team grade-point average of at least 3.0 during the 2025-26 academic year.
 
Stanislaus State was among more than 800 high school and collegiate baseball programs recognized nationwide. This year’s recipients included nearly 500 college programs and more than 320 high school teams.
 
Following the conclusion of the spring semester, coaches were invited to nominate their programs for the award. To qualify, teams were required to meet the following criteria:

• Be a high school or college baseball program
• Have a head coach who is a current ABCA member
• Post a minimum cumulative team GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year

The American Baseball Coaches Association has a long tradition of recognizing the achievements of baseball coaches and student-athletes. Established in 1945, the ABCA is the primary professional organization for baseball coaches at the amateur level. Its awards program includes the ABCA/Rawlings All-America and All-Region teams, regional and national Coach of the Year awards, the ABCA Hall of Fame and the Dave Keilitz Ethics in Coaching Award.
