USTFCCCA Selects Four From The CCAA For Outdoor Track & Field Regional Awards

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - The USTFCCCA announced its NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Regional Award winners for the 2026 season.
 
Cal State LA's Summer Stevenson was selected as the West Region Women's Field Athlete of the Year, with Cal Poly Humboldt's Isabel Perez-Zoghbi earning the West Region Women's Track Athlete of the Year.
 
Chico State collected a pair of honors as Oliver Hanf was voted the USTFCCCA West Region Women's Coach of the Year, and Scott Kruetzfeldt collected Men's Assistant Coach of the Year.
 
Summer Stevenson won the triple jump at the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships with a PR of 12.93m (42-5¼). Earlier in the season, Stevenson scored 15 points in field events at the CCAA Championships, highlighted by another win in the triple jump.
 
Isabel Perez-Zoghbi finished runner-up in the 800 meters at the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships in a PR of 2:02.95. Earlier in the season, Perez-Zoghbi won both the 800 and steeplechase at the CCAA Championships.
 
Oliver Hanf led the Wildcats to the team title at the CCAA Outdoor Championships with 213.5 points. Chico State was the No. 1 ranked program in the West Region all season and earned six All-America honors at the 2026 NCAA DII Outdoor Championships.
 
Scott Kruetzfeldt coached the Wildcats' mid-distance and distance runners to win four events at the CCAA Outdoor Championships and earn five All-Region honors. Two of his athletes, Mario Giannini and Damian Garcia, earned All-America honors at the 2026 NCAA DII Outdoor Championships.
