Damian Garcia earned his second career All-American honor in the 1500 meter, finishing fifth in the event on Saturday with a time of 3:50.04. This placed Garcia on the All-America first team after he won second-team honors in 2025.
Michael Payan also earned his second career All-America award. The sophomore cleared 16-11 (5.16m) to tie for 10th at the championships to collect second-team honors. Payan earned first-team All-American honors during his freshman campaign with a fifth-place finish.
The USFTCCCA first team All-America honors are awarded to those who finish first through eighth. Second-team All-American honors are awarded to those who finish ninth through sixteenth. The top eight relay teams are first-team All-Americans, and the ninth through twelfth are second-team. This was newly expanded in 2026.
This concludes the 2026 NCAA Track & Field season.
