Tidd turned in a dominant performance in the decathlon at the Brutus Hamilton Multi, placing second overall (first among Div. II student-athletes) with a personal-best 6,757 points, improving his NCAA provisional qualifying mark. Competing against a strong field, Tidd recorded multiple personal bests throughout the two-day event and highlighted his performance with a first-place finish in the javelin (176-11/53.92m).
