Chico State’s Ronin Tidd has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Field Athlete of the Week.

Tidd turned in a dominant performance in the decathlon at the Brutus Hamilton Multi, placing second overall (first among Div. II student-athletes) with a personal-best 6,757 points, improving his NCAA provisional qualifying mark.

Competing against a strong field, Tidd recorded multiple personal bests throughout the two-day event and highlighted his performance with a first-place finish in the javelin (176-11/53.92m). His total score represents an upgrade from his earlier provisional mark this season and positions him as the top multi-event athlete in the west region. Click here to see Tidd’s marks on TFRRS
