Brody Staley from Chico State has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for the week of March 30-April 5.

Staley delivered a standout weekend across multiple meets in the Bay Area, highlighted by an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark in the 400 meters. Staley won the 400m at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational with a time of 47.36. That mark ranks as the second-fastest time in the conference this season.

He also recorded another provisional mark in the 400m at the Stanford Invitational (47.55). He ran a leg on Chico State’s winning 4x400m relay team that posted a time of 3:10.73 - also an NCAA provisional qualifier.
