Cal Poly Humboldt’s Michael Payan earns his second FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Field Athlete of the Week award Apr 14, 2026 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> For the second time this season, Cal Poly Humboldt’s Michael Payan has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Field Athlete of the Week. (April 14) Payan won the pole vault event at the Chico Invitational by nearly a foot. The Rocklin, Calif., native posted a mark of 16-6.75 (5.05m) and won by nearly a foot over a field of 23 pole vaulters, including seven from the CCAA. Payan’s height was a provisional mark.
