Stan State’s Andrew Bishop collects FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Track Athlete of the Week honors

Stanislaus State’s Andrew Bishop has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Track Athlete of the Week. (Mar. 30)

Bishop recorded a time of 10.50 in the 100 meters at the West Coast Relays. That mark moved him to No. 3 all-time in Stan State history. The freshman from Sacramento added a provisional qualifying standard time of 21.11 in the 200 meters, which moved him to third all-time in Stan State history.

He also anchored the school-record 4x100 relay, which met the NCAA provisional standard time of 40.57 and ranks eighth on the NCAA Div. II Performance List. Click here to see Bishop’s marks on TFRRS

Stanislaus State will be spread out this week as members of its team compete in the Brutis Hamilton Invitational (UC Berkeley), the Mike Fanelli Track Classic (SF State), and the Stanford Invitational.
