Cal State LA’s Wallace Aflamah named the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Track Athlete of the Week

Cal State LA’s Wallace Aflamah has been voted the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Track Athlete of the Week. (Mar. 24)

Aflamah had an exceptional day at the Redlands Invite, setting two personal bests and earning two NCAA provisional qualifying standards. Aflamah posted a time of 10.30 in the 100m to earn a provisional qualifying standard and record the third-fastest time in the NCAA this season.

Aflamah also served as the anchor on the 4x100m relay team, which moved into ninth on the NCAA Performance List with a provisional qualifying time of 40.68. The junior from Greater Accra, Ghana, also recorded a time of 21.24 in the 200m to place third in the event and move into fifth on the CCAA Performance List. Cal State LA will be at UCLA this week for the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival (Mar. 27) and the Jim Bush Legends Meet (Mar. 28).
