Nadia Miechowicz of Cal State San Marcos has picked up her second FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Track Athlete of the Week awards this season.

Miechowicz set a new program record in the 200-meter dash with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 23.83 seconds. She won the event at the Aztec Coastal Track Classic at San Diego State on Saturday. She also helped the 4x400-meter relay team to a second place finish in 3:57.02.

The freshman from Escondido, Calif., surpassed former Cougar Rasha Badrani’s previous 200-meter record of 23.85, set a year ago. Badrani was a two-time outdoor All-American (400-meter hurdles) and the 2025 indoor track national champion in the 400-meter run.

Miechowicz’s 200-meter time currently leads all of Division II, 0.10 second ahead of Cal Poly Pomona’s Jessica James, who won this award last week. Miechowicz is also the CCAA leader in the 100-meter dash (11.76).

This is Miechowicz’s second career CCAA Track Athlete of the Week award. She received this honor two weeks ago after setting the program record in the 100-meter dash. Click here for a complete list of past CCAA Track & Field Athletes of the Week.

Cal State San Marcos will take part at the UC Riverside Spring Class on Saturday before hosting the Mangrum Invitational on home track, which is the site of the 2026 CCAA Track & Field Championships.
