ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Nine CCAA women’s track & field programs and 30 student-athletes earned All-Academic honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association following the 2026 season.
Cal Poly Humboldt,
Cal Poly Pomona,
Cal State LA,
Cal State Monterey Bay,
Cal State San Bernardino,
Cal State San Marcos,
Chico State,
San Francisco State and
Stanislaus State were selected as USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Women’s All-Academic Teams.
The nine team recipients are the most for the conference over the past three seasons. Five CCAA programs earned the honor in 2024 before the total increased to eight in 2025 and nine this year. Cal State LA joined the list in 2026.
Five programs have now earned All-Academic Team honors in each of the past three seasons. Cal Poly Humboldt, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State San Bernardino, San Francisco State and Stanislaus State were recognized in 2024, 2025 and 2026. Cal State Monterey Bay, Cal State San Marcos and Chico State collected the honor for the second consecutive season.
San Francisco State led all CCAA programs with a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.57. The Gators ranked fourth among West Region programs and 39th nationally.
On the individual side, Cal Poly Pomona led the conference with 11 All-Academic Athletes. Chico State followed with nine selections, while Stanislaus State placed four on the list. Cal Poly Humboldt and Cal State LA each produced three honorees. Five CCAA institutions had at least three student-athletes earn recognition.
The conference’s 30 All-Academic Athletes represent an increase of 12 from 2025, when 18 CCAA women received the award. Cal Poly Pomona also led the conference last season with nine selections.
Ten student-athletes earned the honor for the second consecutive year. Cal Poly Pomona’s
Jordan Garcia, Jessica James, Galilea Jimenez, Vivian Martinez and
Miranda Palacios returned to the list, along with Chico State’s
Olivia Beschorner and
Janey Rubio. Stanislaus State’s
Crystal Hernandez, Mila Real and
Annie Wild also repeated as honorees.
Real and Wild have now received USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors in three consecutive seasons. Cal Poly Humboldt’s
Cocome McKamey and
Isabel Perez-Zoghbi and Cal Poly Pomona’s
Alondra Arias also returned to the list after previously earning recognition in 2024. In all, 13 of this year’s 30 recipients appeared on at least one of the conference’s previous two All-Academic lists.
To qualify as a USTFCCCA NCAA Division II All-Academic Athlete, a student-athlete must have completed at least 24 semester hours or 36 quarter hours at the nominating institution, maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and achieved an automatic or provisional qualifying mark for the NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
For the team award, all eligible student-athletes whose names appear on the program’s NCAA squad list at the end of the academic year must be included in the calculation. The program must maintain a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
