ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Cal Poly Humboldt’s Isabel Perez-Zoghbi and Stanislaus State’s Annie Wild have been selected to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country teams.
 
Perez-Zoghbi earned first-team honors, while Wild was voted to the second team for the second consecutive year. They were the CCAA’s only representatives among the 45 student-athletes selected to the NCAA Division II Academic All-America teams.
 
Isabel Perez-Zoghbi maintained a perfect grade-point average as a Chemistry major while producing a historic junior season for the Lumberjacks.
 
The Merced native finished as the NCAA Division II national runner-up in the outdoor 800 meters, crossing the line in a school-record time of 2:02.95. The performance lowered her previous program record by nearly two seconds and earned Perez-Zoghbi first-team All-America honors.
 
Perez-Zoghbi also reached the national podium during the indoor season, placing third in the 800m at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. She became the first Cal Poly Humboldt track & field student-athlete to earn All-America honors during both the indoor and outdoor seasons in the same academic year.
 
At the CCAA Championships, Perez-Zoghbi captured conference titles in the 800m and the 3,000m steeplechase. She also received the CCAA Elite 13 Award, which recognizes the student-athlete with the highest grade-point average competing at the finals site of each conference championship. Perez-Zoghbi completed the season by being named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association West Region Women’s Track Athlete of the Year.
 
Annie Wild collected her second straight Academic All-America second-team selection while majoring in Communications. The junior was one of only four Division II student-athletes to repeat as a second-team selection in 2025-26.
 
The Ripon native added three more All-America performances to her decorated career during the cross country and indoor track & field seasons.
 
Wild placed 24th at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships to earn All-America honors while helping Stanislaus State finish 12th nationally. She also placed seventh at the NCAA West Regional and finished as the runner-up at the CCAA Championships, earning all-region and All-CCAA first-team recognition.
 
During the indoor season, Wild placed third in the mile at the NCAA Division II Championships to earn first-team All-America honors one year after winning the event’s national championship. She also ran on the Warriors’ distance medley relay team, which finished ninth and earned second-team All-America recognition.
 
Wild now has five USTFCCCA All-America honors in her collegiate career. She was also named the Stanislaus State Female Athlete of the Year following the 2025-26 season.
 
Perez-Zoghbi becomes the second Cal Poly Humboldt women’s track & field/cross country student-athlete to earn Academic All-America honors, joining 2017 first-team selection Marissa McCay. Wild is the first Stanislaus State women’s track & field/cross country student-athlete to earn the distinction in consecutive seasons, and ninth Warrior overall.
 
Established in 1952, the Academic All-America program recognizes student-athletes who have reached the highest levels of achievement in competition and in the classroom.
