Martel Fields wins second straight FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Track Athlete of the Week Mar 17, 2026 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> UC Merced’s Martel Fields has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for the week of Mar. 9-15. Fields won the 100m, 200m, and 4x100 relay at the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by Chico State. The junior hit the NCAA Division II provisional time in the 200m, running the second-fastest time in the nation with a mark of 20.91. Fields also set the program record in the 100m with a time of 10.54, and helped the 4x100m relay team post a time of 41.18. The Long Beach native now stands first in the CCAA in the 200m (20.91), second in the 4x100m (40.84), fourth in the 100m (10.54), and seventh in the 4x400m (3:20.64).
