Martel Fields rewrites the UC Merced record books to win FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Track Athlete of the Week Mar 10, 2026 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> UC Merced’s Martel Fields has been named the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for the week of Mar. 2-8. Fields delivered four program records (100m, 200m, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay) and three top-5 CCAA times at the Kim Duyst Invitational hosted by Stanislaus State in Turlock, Calif. The junior became the CCAA leader in the 200m with a time of 21.14. He also anchored the 4x100 relay team to a win and the second fastest CCAA time this year in 40.84. Fields finished second in the 100m dash in 10.56, marking the fourth fastest CCAA time this year. He also ran the anchor leg on the 4x400 relay team (3:20.64).
