In the impressive outing against No. 3 ranked Western Washington, the junior pitcher from Whittier, Calif., struck out nine batters (six of them caught looking) and gave up just an unearned run in the Pioneers’ 17-1 win over the Vikings. Quintero then shutout Biola on Saturday, allowing six hits and fanning six in the team’s 6-0 victory. She closed out the week by allowing just two hits over five scoreless innings against Colorado Mesa.
