Cal State San Marcos’ Jason Wells earns the first FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Track Athlete of the Week award of 2026 Feb 24, 2026 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Cal State San Marcos’ Jason Wells has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Track & Field Athlete of the Week for the first week of the 2026 season. The junior posted the second-fastest time in CSUSM history with a time of 21.31 in the 200m at the Ron Kamaka Open and Multi Meet. He finished second overall in the event, right in front of two of his Cougar teammates. Click here to see Wells’ marks on TFRRS. This is the first career CCAA Track Athlete of the Week award for Wells, and the first for Cal State San Marcos since 2024 (Nick Melanese).
