Overview
The largest field in CCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament history will begin its championship pursuit Sunday, Nov. 1, as seven teams compete in the 2026 CCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament presented by FloCollege.
Cal Poly Pomona enters as the regular-season champion and No. 1 seed, earning the tournament’s lone first-round bye. Cal State LA, Cal State San Bernardino and UC Merced will host Sunday’s opening-round matches, with Stanislaus State, Cal State San Marcos and Cal State Monterey Bay seeking to advance on the road.
The three first-round winners will join the Broncos at Kellogg Stadium on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona for the semifinals Thursday, Nov. 5. The championship match is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m.
A New Path To The Championship
With the field expanding to seven teams, only the top seed advances directly to the semifinals. The remaining six teams must win Sunday to secure a trip to Pomona.
Cal Poly Pomona will face the winner of the No. 4-No. 5 matchup in Thursday’s first semifinal at 4 p.m. The other two first-round winners will meet in the second semifinal at 7 p.m.
The final standings reflected a closely contested regular season. Pomona finished with 28 points, one ahead of LA and San Bernardino. Merced collected 25 points, while Monterey Bay, San Marcos and Stanislaus each finished with 23.
Sunday's Matchups
The tournament begins at 10 a.m. when No. 6 Cal State San Marcos visits No. 3 Cal State San Bernardino. Their regular-season meeting ended 0-0, setting up another matchup between teams that have each recorded nine shutouts.
Two noon kickoffs will complete the opening round.
No. 5 Cal State Monterey Bay travels to No. 4 UC Merced in a matchup featuring the conference’s co-leaders in goals, Juliana Dow and Jocelin Roa. Each enters with 11 goals, and their teams played to a 1-1 draw in Merced on Oct. 9.
No. 7 Stanislaus State visits No. 2 Cal State LA with a regular-season road victory over the Golden Eagles already on its résumé. The Warriors won 2-1 in Los Angeles on Sept. 25, while LA brings a defense that has allowed just nine goals in 18 matches into the rematch.
Recent Tourhament History
A new champion will be crowned after defending champion Cal Poly Humboldt finished outside this year’s field.
The Lumberjacks won the 2025 tournament as the No. 5 seed, advancing past Cal State San Bernardino in a penalty-kick shootout before defeating top-seeded Cal Poly Pomona in the semifinals and Chico State 1-0 in the championship match.
Humboldt’s title extended a stretch of five different champions in the past five tournaments. Cal State East Bay won in 2021, followed by Cal State LA in 2022, Cal State San Marcos in 2023, Cal Poly Pomona in 2024 and Humboldt in 2025.
Pomona’s 2024 championship came with a 2-0 victory over East Bay, one year after the Broncos finished as runners-up to San Marcos. This year marks the women’s tournament’s first return to Kellogg Stadium since 2021.

The Cougars rank second in the CCAA with 6.11 corner kicks per match and have recorded nine shutouts. Their 0.722 goals-against average ranks fifth in the conference and 40th nationally.
