Cal State San Bernardino’s Maya Alston has been selected the FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the shortened week of Oct. 26-29. 

The junior forward scored two goals to help lead the Coyotes to a 4-0 win in the regular-season finale over Cal State East Bay and secure the No. 3 seed in the CCAA Tournament for CSUSB. 

Alston scored her first goal, the game-winner, in the 22nd minute to give CSUSB an early advantage. She added a second six minutes into the second half, dribbling past two defenders and slotting it into the top of the net. It was her first brace of the season. 

The Keizer, Ore., native finished the regular season ranked fifth in the CCAA in goals (5) and seventh in points (14). Click here to see the complete list of CCAA statistics leaders.
 
This was Alston’s first career CCAA Player of the Week award, and the first for CSUSB in 2026. Click here to see a complete list of past award winners. 

The win secured the No. 3 seed for CSUSB, which will host the No. 6 seed Cal State San Marcos on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. The two teams played to a scoreless draw in their only meeting of the season.
