CSUSB's finishes 8th at NCAAs to highlight the CCAA's 11 All-Americans

PUEBLO, Colo. - Eleven CCAA student-athletes and both Cal State San Bernardino relay teams took home All-American honors on the final day of the 2025 NCAA Women's Track & Field Championships.

The Coyote 4x100m relay team of Alexandra Ackerman, Amari Weatherford, Coryssa Hope, and Hailey Hunt opened the day's running events by placing second in the event with a season-best time of 43.94. It was the first time they had run sub-44.0 seconds all season. The only time that kept CSUSB from gold was the NCAA Div. II record-breaking mark of 43.85 posted by Fresno Pacific.

This would be one of the three first-team All-American honors Hailey Hunt would collect on the day. The senior sprinter placed fourth in the 100m with a personal-best time of 11:28. She added another fourth-place finish in the 200m (11.28).

Amari Weatherford earned the bronze medal in the 200m with a time of 22.92. However, the race was wind-aided, or Weatherford would have shattered her personal record by 0.32 seconds. It was her second medal of the day, and she was the highest individual finisher of any CCAA student-athlete at the 2025 Championships.

Weatherford then teamed up with Coryssa Hope, Prishencia Nnoham, and Alexis White in the 4x400m. The race was the final women's event of the day, and the Coyotes took fifth place in the highly competitive race with a season-best time of 3:34.42.

Those performances helped Cal State San Bernardino finish eighth at the NCAA Championships with 28 team points. Those are the most points any CCAA women's team has earned at nationals since San Francisco State accumulated 42 in 2019.

Cal State LA's Jonon Young earned All-American honors in the triple jump for the second consecutive season. After placing 12th in 2024, Young moved to eighth place in 2025 with a mark of 42-0.5 (12.81m). It was her best mark of the season.

Stanislaus State had two student-athletes earn a place on the podium on Saturday. Annie Wild took fifth place in the 1,500m with a time of 4:32.30. Mila Real placed eighth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 59.91. Those finishes earned the Warriors three team points.

Cal State San Marcos' Rasha Badrani placed ninth in the 400m hurdles to earn second-team All-American status. The top-8 in each event, including as a member of a relay team, receive first-team All-American honors. Second-team selections were given to those athletes who finished in spots Nos. 9-12 in individual events. Ninth and tenth-place relay teams also earned the distinction.

Neshara Smith represented Cal Poly Pomona on the award podium with a sixth-place finish in the 100m hurdles with a season-best time of 13.40. Her mark was one second faster than anyone else in the CCAA this season. Isabelle Carreon earned second-team All-American recognition in the pole vault. She cleared 12-10.25 (3.92m) to tie for 10th place.

Chico State's Della Molina added another All-American honor to her collection as she placed 12th in the 5,000m with a time of 17:13.43. This was her third All-American honor in 2024-25. She also earned All-American honors in the 10k and cross country. Iresh Molina just missed All-American honors as she placed 13th in the 5k with a time of 17:13.43.

This concludes the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field season.
