Can’t get her out! CSUSB’s Tereise Tosi wins FloCollege/CCAA Softball Player of the Week

Cal State San Bernardino’s Tereise Tosi has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Softball Player of the Week for the week of April 14-20.

Tosi led CSUSB to a sweep of Cal Poly Humboldt and put the Coyotes in control of their own playoff destiny. The reigning CCAA Player of the Year went 6-for-9 in the series with three home runs and seven walks. She added a double, seven runs batted in, and three runs scored. She registered a .765 on-base percentage and a 1.778 slugging percentage to post an incredible 2.543 OPS. 

Tosi opened the series by going 2-for-2 with two home runs and three RBI. She had only seven official at-bats the rest of the series, and she registered four hits. Tosi closed out the series by going 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, and three RBI in a 7-1 win. 

Tosi is pacing the CCAA in hits (74), batting average (.457), home runs (14), runs batted in (45), and slugging percentage (.815). Click here to see the CCAA stats leaderboard.

Cal State San Bernardino will close the regular season this week at San Francisco State.
