CSUMB's Cori Reinhardt honored with CCAA Hall of Fame Award

Apr 18, 2025

On April 12, the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) had the honor of presenting Cal State Monterey Bay’s legendary student-athlete Cori Reinhardt with her CCAA Hall of Fame Award.

Reinhardt was inducted into the CCAA Hall of Fame as a member of the 2024 class and was honored before the Cal State Monterey Bay and Stanislaus State softball game at the CSUMB Softball Field in Seaside, Calif.

The Riverside native was honored with her Hall of Fame trophy on the field by CCAA Commissioner Allen Hardison and presented with a framed jersey by the Otters. She then delivered the ceremonial first pitch to her former teammate, Bianca Noriega, a three-time all-region selection, as the crowd looked on and cheered.

Reinhardt was a three-time All-American while playing for the Otters from 2012 through 2015. She was named the West Region Player of the Year in 2014 and remains the only person to win both CCAA Player of the Year and CCAA Pitcher of the Year honors in the same season (2015).

Her name remains scattered throughout the CCAA record books. She is ranked eighth all-time in batting average, sixth in on-base percentage, and third in runs batted in. She is also eighth in wins and 10th in complete games.
