Historic hammer throw earns Chico’s Sage Coyle FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Field Athlete of the Week Apr 15, 2025 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Chico State’s Sage Coyle has been awarded the FloCollege/CCAA Women's Field Athlete of the Week honors. The senior from San Jose set the new Chico State program record in the hammer throw in her first throw attempt at the Chico Invite on Friday. Her mark of 169-10 (51.78 meters) is the first in program history to break the 50-meter mark. It is second on the 2025 CCAA Performance List and is only a meter off an NCAA Provisional mark.
