CSUSB’s Amari Weatherford collects FloCollege/CCAA Track Athlete of the Week honors for the second straight week Mar 4, 2025 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Cal State San Bernardino’s Amari Weatherford has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 24-Mar. 2. The senior sprinter was part of two relay teams that won their events at the RCC Invitational on Friday. She also picked up an individual win in the 100-meter dash with an NCAA Provisional Qualifying Standard time of 11.71 seconds. Weatherford helped the Coyotes 4x100m relay team place first with a time of 45.80, and the 4x400m relay team finished with a time of 3:53.00. This is the second consecutive week Weatherford has earned CCAA Track Athlete of the Week honors. Cal State San Bernardino will compete in the Ben Brown Invitational this weekend as they build towards the CCAA Championships on May 1-3 in Turlock, Calif.
