Cal State Dominguez Hills' Jeremy Dent-Smith and Chico State's Jojo Murphy earned a place on both the D2 CCA and NABC All-America teams.

Jojo Murphy collected D2 CCA third team honors while being named to the 16-person NABC All-America team. As a junior, Murphy led the CCAA in scoring with 20.7 points per game and ranked fifth with 4.0 assists per game. He shot .470 percent from the field, .386 percent from 3-point range, and .803 percent at the free throw line to rank in the top 6 in the conference in all three categories. The Oakland native posted 20 or more points in 18 of his 29 games, including a season-high 31 against Cal State LA. Murphy helped lead Chico State to a 24-7 record and its second consecutive appearance in the NCAA West Regional. These were the first All-American selections for Murphy.

Jeremy Dent-Smith earned NABC All-America honors for the second straight season after leading Cal State Dominguez Hills to both CCAA titles and into the NCAA national semifinal with a 29-5 record. The junior guard averages 18.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. His 18.4 ppg ranks him fourth in the CCAA, and he is second in free throw percentage (.823). The Hawthorne, Calif., native scored 20 or more points in 12 of 22 conference games and added three double-doubles. He is still the only Toro in program history to earn NABC All-American honors.

This is only the third time since 2002-03 that the CCAA has had two NABC All-American selections in the same season. List of past NABC Men's Basketball selections from the CCAA
