Gianna Frank earns her second FloCollege/CCAA Field Athlete of the Week award as a freshman Mar 25, 2025 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Gianna Frank of Cal State San Bernardino has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for the week of Mar. 17-23. Frank broke her own school record in the shot put for the fourth consecutive meet, this time recording a toss of 43-10 (13.36m) at Sacramento State's Hornet Invitational to take the top spot in the CCAA so far this season. The freshman was the first student-athlete to receive CCAA Field Athlete of the Week honors in 2025, and the first Coyote since 2023. The Cal State San Bernardino women’s track & field team will be in San Marcos this weekend to compete in the Mangrum Invitational on Saturday, Mar. 29. The following week, CSUSB will go to the Triton Invitational hosted by UC San Diego.
