Cal State East Bay’s Ashlee Toy has been named the FloCollege/CCAA Softball Pitcher of the Week after picking up three wins and tossing a no-hitter.

Toy had a historical week for the No. 14 ranked Pioneers, leading her team to a 3-1 record in the series at Cal Poly Humboldt. She earned all three victories in the circle in 17.2 innings of work with two complete games including a no-hitter in Thursday’s 2-0 nightcap win. In all, she did not allow a run and yielded just four hits with 12 strikeouts.

The senior lefty from Lodi, Calif., threw her second career no-hitter in her start on Thursday helping CSUEB to a twinbill split. Toy allowed just two baserunners and fanned two batters in the gem. She picked up the win in 3.2 innings of relief in game one on Saturday as East Bay won 5-4 in nine innings. She then cruised to a four-hit shutout in the finale to improve her season record to 11-2.

Toy leads the conference with a 0.86 ERA and .172 opponent batting average. Her 11 wins is second best and she’s third with 61 strikeouts. Click here to see the CCAA stats leaderboard
