Tereise Tosi of Cal State San Bernardino has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Softball Player of the Week, for the second consecutive week.
The slugger led the Coyotes to a series win over No. 18 Cal State Dominguez Hills last week. Tosi batted an impressive .750, going 9-for-12 with two doubles, two homers and drove in three runs in the four-game set. She posted a slugging percentage of 1.417 and an on base percentage of .769.
The senior from Garden Grove hit safely in all four games but her best game was the series finale on Saturday when she went 4-for-4 with two doubles and two dingers. She drove in three runs and scored twice in the Coyotes’ 10-5 win. It was her third four-hit game this season.
Tosi leads the CCAA with 30 hits and is second in slugging (.783), on base percent (.538) and OPS (1.321). Click here to see the CCAA player leaderboard.
