Twelve student-athletes representing five institutions from the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) earned a place on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Men's Soccer Academic All-District Team.
 
The program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
 
Cal State San Marcos, Cal State LA, and Cal Poly Pomona led the way with three selections apiece. Stanislaus State had two honorees, and Chico State had one.
 
Stanislaus State's selections, Samuel Villanueva and Adrian Yepez, were both named as a CSC Academic All-America® finalist. They will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. To be considered for the honor, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at their current institution. Nominated athletes must have participated in at least 50% of the team's games at their position. No student-athlete is eligible until they have completed one full calendar year at their current institution and are at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
  
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
